The process starts with fuel lines removal followed by disconnecting the TP sensor electrical connector. Begin by removing the TP sensor screws until the TP sensor combined with the O-ring can be extracted. Before sensor installation please position the O-ring onto the TP sensor. Secure the TP sensor screws with thread-locking compound LOCTITE(R) 262, GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) or an equivalent according to the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions instructions. Install the TP sensor by securing its screws until they reach 2.0 N.m (18 lb in) of torque. Before finishing install run cables for the TP sensor electrical connector along with fuel lines.
