The TP sensor installation begins by taking out both its screws followed by retrieving it along with its O-ring. Begin the installation procedure by setting the O-ring onto the TP sensor followed by installing the TP sensor itself. Put LOCTITE(R) 262 thread-locking compound GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) or its equivalent on TP sensor screws before installation while screwing them to a torque value of 2.0 N.m (18 lb in). Reestablish the connection between the TP sensor electrical component along with the fuel line system.
