How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 2 on 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

The vehicle needs to be elevated for starting the heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 2 replacement process. A cold engine makes removing the heated Oxygen Sensor difficult because the temperature is less than 120 °f but attempting too much force could ruin the Exhaust Pipe threads. First disconnect the ho2s 2 electrical connector before installing the heated Oxygen Sensor wrench (J 39194-B) to remove the sensor. Before putting a new or service ho2s 2 sensor into place apply gm p/n 12377953 anti-seize compound or equivalent to its threads. Use the special compound mixture of graphite plus glass beads whenever a sensor has been taken out. Connect the ho2s 2 sensor into place while leveraging the heated Oxygen Sensor wrench (J 39194-B) to achieve a torque setting of 41 n.m (30 lb ft). Affix the ho2s 2 electrical connector while placing the vehicle back to ground position.
