How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 1 on 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

Initiating ho2s bank 1 sensor 1 replacement requires delivering all ignition coils followed by removing the connector position assurance retainer to separate bank 1 sensor 1 electrical connections. Remove the bank 1 sensor 1 from its home within the Exhaust Manifold. Apply recommended special anti-seize compound to the sensor threads when installing. The recommended thread coating for reinstalling the old sensor contains liquid graphite and glass beads under part number 12377953. Place the bank 1 sensor 1 back onto the Exhaust Manifold after applying the recommended special anti-seize compound then tighten it to 42 n.m (31 lb ft). The bank 1 sensor 1 electrical connector should be reattached before installing the cpa retainer followed by reinstallation of ignition coils.
