How to replace the EGR valve on 2004 Chevrolet Venture?

First step to replace the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve starts by turning off ignition before disconnecting the EGR Valve electrical connector. Begin by taking out the transaxle fluid filler tube followed by the bolt which attains the pipe assembly to the EGR Valve then gently pull back the pipe assembly. Start by removing EGR Valve retaining bolts and afterwards remove the EGR Valve assembly before removing the gasket. The mating surface of the EGR Valve requires cleaning before you install both the new gasket and valve to the Intake Manifold. Place the bolts in the EGR Valve before fastening them to 30 n.m of torque (22 lb ft). Fasten the pipe assembly to the EGR Valve by using a bolt which should be tightened to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). The installation ends with reattaching the transaxle fluid filler tube while reconnecting the EGR Valve electrical connector.
