How to replace the EGR valve on 2005 Chevrolet Venture?

Start the EGR Valve replacement by turning off ignition before disconnecting the EGR Valve electrical connector. First disconnect the transaxle fluid filler tube and the bolt which holds the pipe assembly in position on the EGR Valve then slowly move the pipe assembly backward. First remove retaining bolts from the EGR Valve assembly together with the valve unit and the gasket afterwards. After cleaning the EGR Valve mating surface users must install the new gasket followed by the EGR Valve at the Intake Manifold. Secure the bolts into the EGR Valve before tightening them to 30 n.m (22 lb ft). Connect the pipe assembly to the valve and install its bolt and tighten it to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). The installation process ends by reattaching both the transaxle fluid filler tube and connecting back the electrical connector at the EGR Valve.
