How to replace the Power Steering Hose on 2005 Buick Century?

The replacement of a power steering cooler pipe/hose requires you to lift up the automobile to a raised position. First detach the return hose from the cooler pipe/hose before removing the cooler pipe/hose retaining bolt (115 100 01) from the frame. The cooler pipe/hose should then be detached from retaining clips on the frame and from clamps on the steering gear. First disconnect the wiring harness clip from the cooler pipe/hose before removing the hose or pipe from steering gear and vehicle. The installation of the cooler pipe/hose requires you to position the unit back into the vehicle while connecting it to the steering gear at 27 nm torque (20 ft. Lbs.). First reattach the wiring harness clip to the cooler pipe/hose before you fasten the cooler pipe/hose into position on the clips located on the steering gear and the frame retaining clip. The cooler pipe/hose retaining bolt (115 100 01) goes onto the frame while tightening to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.) before reconnecting the return hose to the cooler pipe/hose. After vehicle lowering the system requires power steering fluid refill then power steering system must be bled before inspecting for power steering system leaks.
