How to replace the steering wheel on 2005 Buick Century?

In order to change the steering wheel, it is necessary to disable the SIR system and put off the ignition. Take off the steering wheel module, draw alignment marks on the hub and loosen the steering wheel nut. Unseat the wheel with a puller, disconnect the SIR connector and re-install the wheel making sure that it is in place and operational.
