  A: Before replacing the rear brake pads inspect hydraulic fluid in the brake master cylinder reservoir. If fluid sits midway between its maximum and minimum operating marks no fluid needs removal. Reduce fluid only when it exceeds the midway point. Lift the vehicle and detach its wheel and tire parts for pad replacement. Unfasten the Wheel Speed Sensor connector from the lower Control Arm part and take off both caliper bolts at upper and lower locations.
