How to replace the water pump (LY7) on 2005 Buick LaCrosse?

You must empty the cooling system before taking off the generator Drive Belt to replace the Water Pump ly7. Hook up the Water Pump Pulley holding tool (EN46104) and remove the Water Pump Pulley bolts plus the pulley itself. Dismantle the Water Pump bolts and Water Pump assembly by also removing the Water Pump seal today ends in the trash. Before putting in a fresh Water Pump seal you must deeply clean the sealing surfaces on the Water Pump. Screw in the Water Pump bolts and then put on the Water Pump Pulley with its bolts. Tighten the bolts to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). The Water Pump Pulley holding tool en46104 allows you to hold the pulley during bolt tightening. Please apply force rated at 12 nm (106 inch lbs.). Reinstall the generator belt and refill the cooling system after completing the process.
