Secure the new intermediate shaft seal within the vehicle by matching its holes to those on the floor pan. Use intermediate shaft seal bolts to connect it and tighten them to 3 nm (27 inch lbs.). The first step of installation includes setting the fuel bundle into the under hood fasteners followed by the vacuum Brake Booster and the Steering Column and intermediate Steering Shaft. During post-installation testing ensure that the intermediate shaft operates without resistance or binding at the intermediate Steering Shaft seal hub.
