How to replace the Air Bag Clockspring in the Steering Wheel on 2005 Buick Rainier?

Disable SIR, center and remove steering wheel, upper/lower trim. Inspect column, release harness strap. For PAD-control wheels remove air bag clock spring and harness together; otherwise remove spring separately. Reverse for installation: align shaft at 12 o'clock, center or pre-center spring, fit wave washer, retaining ring, reinstall harness, trims, wheel; re-enable SIR.
