The cleaning operation for the oil level indicator tube must be completed before applying GM sealant P/N 12345739 or its equivalent 12.7 mm (0.50 inch) down from the tube bead. Begin by putting on the oil level indicator tube and fixing the bolt at 25 Nm torque. Add the oil level indicator tube.
