The process for oil level indicator and tube replacement starts with removing number 6 Spark Plug wire from the Spark Plug before removing the oil level indicator and its bracket bolt followed by the removal of the oil level indicator tube. Before tube installation place the correct sealant around the oil level indicator tube 12.7 mm (0.50 in) below its bead point. Use the specified part number for the suitable adhesives and lubrication or sealing materials. Secure the oil level indicator tube into the engine block placement and add the oil level indicator tube bracket bolt while tightening it to 25 n.m (18 lb ft) torque specification. The last step involves installing the oil level indicator before reconnecting the number 6 Spark Plug wire to the Spark Plug.
