The wheel drive shaft sealing surface for the oil seal requires treatment with synthetic gear oil gm p/n united states 12378514 and canada p/n 88901045 or an equivalent oil. Install the left wheel drive shaft along with the left rear tire and wheel assembly as the last step of installation. Check the differential lubricant level after which you should lower the vehicle.
