You must first remove both intake manifolds before taking off the retaining clip and disconnecting the feed pipe from the rail that houses the fuel injectors. Compressed air should clear debris from the Fuel Injector opening into the Intake Manifold under safety glasses protection. Take out the Fuel Rail with installed fuel injectors while supporting it to protect the injector electrical connector terminals and spray tips. Fittings need caps and holes demand plugging in order to prevent contaminants from entering open pipes and passages. Disconnect the Fuel Injector electric connection before taking out the retainer clip followed by the Fuel Injector itself and dispose of the old Fuel Injector seals. Workers should start by installing fresh seals followed by mounting the Fuel Injector before securing it with its retaining clip. After connecting the Fuel Injector electrical connector users must secure the lock mechanism. Fit the Fuel Rail along with fuel injectors before securing its bolts to 10 n.m (89 lb in). After installing the Fuel Rail bolts to 10 n.m (89 lb in) just connect the fuel feed pipe to the Fuel Rail then position the fuel pipe retaining clip before reinstalling the upper Intake Manifold.
