  A: The first step for replacing fuel injectors and Fuel Rail requires you to relieve fuel system pressure and take off the intake plenum. First disconnect both quick connect fittings from the Fuel Rail which include return hose/pipe and feed hose/pipe before removing the Fuel Rail brace bolt from the Intake Manifold. The Fuel Injector electrical connectors need detachment before the harness removal from the Fuel Rail while disconnection of the atmospheric vent hose occurs from the Fuel Pressure Regulator. Utilize compressed air through safety glasses while blowing away dirt from the intake casting entry point of Fuel Injector installation then remove the Fuel Rail bolts from the Intake Manifold. Fabulously lift the Fuel Rail assembly off the Intake Manifold while extracting the retainers from fuel injectors to remove fuel injectors from the rail by discarding the o-ring seals. Apply clean oil to new o-ring seals of fuel injectors before installing them onto the fuel unit. Connect fuel injectors onto the Fuel Rail by using new retainer clips while making sure that the electrical connectors point straight toward the crankshaft. Drive the Fuel Rail assembly down onto the Intake Manifold until it reaches full seating position. Secure the Fuel Rail assembly with its attached injectors onto the Intake Manifold through bolt tightening that reaches 8 n.m (71 lb in). The Fuel Pressure Regulator requires an atmospheric vent hose connection and the Fuel Injector electrical harness must clip to the Fuel Rail followed by electrical connector attachment to all fuel injectors. Finish your installation by screwing in the Fuel Rail brace bolt to the Intake Manifold then tightening it to 8 n.m (71 lb in). After that, hook up the quick connect fittings to the Fuel Rail (feed hose/pipe followed by the return hose/pipe ). Lastly, replace the intake plenum.
