Unhook the air intake duct hoses, surge tank inlet hose, throttle body heater hose, and fuel pressure regulator atmospheric vent tube from the throttle body. Next, disconnect the throttle body electrical connector from the throttle body and remove the mounting bolts. Make sure to remove the throttle body assembly from the intake plenum and vacuum fittings, dispose of the throttle body O-ring seals and vacuum fitting O-ring seals. For installation stroke new throttle body O-ring seals into the grooves of throttle body and lightly apply clean engine oil to the vacuum fitting O-ring before installing the O-rings into the vacuum fittings. Drift the throttle body assembly into the intake plenum with the vacuum fittings, making sure to adhere to the fastener notice for a good installation. Secure the throttle body assembly using the mounting bolts and tighten them to the value of 8 N.m (71 lb in). Reconnect the throttle body electrical connect, surge tank inlet hose throttle body heater hose, and fuel pressure regulator atmospheric vent tube. Finally restore air intake duct hoses and idle learn procedure before filling up the cooling system.
