    A: The first step for replacing the bank 2 secondary air injection (AIR) shut-off valve consists of removing the air cleaner assembly. Begin by disconnecting the electrical connector from the air shut-off valve then lowering the pinch clamp on the intermediate hose to the air shut-off valve for detachment of the hose. Begin by removing the 2 securing nuts on the outlet pipe bracket where the air shut-off valve attaches, then you can take out the valve keeping the gasket for discarding. Mount the new air shut-off valve on the outlet pipe with its gasket and attach the 2 nuts while tightening them to a torque of 9 n.m (80 lb in). To install the intermediate hose first connect it to the air shut-off valve before placing the pinch clamp in position then reattach the electrical connector to this valve. Reinstall the air cleaner assembly as the last step.
