How to replace the Transmission Oil Cooler on 2005 Cadillac SRX?

To make the exchange of Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooler, you first need to prepare/tools: Halogen Leak Detector (J 39400-A). Start by disconnecting the condenser, after you do so you will disconnect the transmission oil cooler (TOC) lines from the transmission oil cooler and then screw off the transmission oil cooler line from the transmission oil cooler retainer clip. Next, unscrew the transmission oil cooler mounts and pull out the transmission oil cooler. For installation, reinstall the transmission oil cooler and bolt the transmission oil cooler mounting bolts to 5Nm (44 inch.lbs). Screw the transmission oil cooler lines to the transmission oil cooler tightening fittings to 20 Nm (15ft. lbs.) and reconnect transmission oil cooler line to the transmission oil cooler retaining clip. Finally, reinstall the condenser.
