To fix the Brake Master Cylinder start by tightly clamping its flange into a vise to reach the primary Piston's back. Connect suitable flare seat adapters to the master cylinder ports and put the hose ends into the master cylinder reservoir with fluid. Join transparent hoses to the fittings and put them into the master cylinder reservoir. Insert the ends of double-barreled hose into clean brake fluid container containing delco supreme 11(R) or its equivalent brake fluid brand until reservoir reaches its halfway mark. Use gm p/n 12377967 for the fluid reference on north american markets and canadian p/n 992667 on canadian markets. To bleed air from primary Piston use a round-ended tool to push down the Piston depth 25mm multiple times while observing fluid exits the ports. During this step the pressure required for Piston travel increases as air escapes from the system. Repeat the pumping action until brake fluid runs through the ports without air trapped inside. When done return the transparent hoses into the reservoir then seal the unit with the cap and diaphragm. Drain the fittings with hoses from ports while keeping the master cylinder covered with a clean cloth for spill prevention before taking it out of the vise.
