How to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor on Bank 2 (Left) Intake on 2005 Cadillac STS?

In order to replace the Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor on Bank 2 (Left) Intake one needs to remove the fuel injector sight shield and disconnect the electrical connector from the left bank intake camshaft position sensor marking the connectors for re installation since they are physically interchangeable. Then, remove the camshaft sensor retaining bolt, and take off the left bank intake camshaft sensor. For installation, lubricate the O-ring of the camshaft sensor with the oil used in the engine and check it for wear or damages and replace them if needed. Install the left bank intake camshaft position sensor and its retaining bolt, applying 10 N.m (89 lb in) torques. Connect the camshaft sensor electrical connector again and install the fuel injector sight shield. Finally, run the engine to inspect the camshaft sensor for oil leaks from the engine.
