How to replace the Electric Cooling Fan Motor on 2005 Cadillac STS?

The replacement process of electric cooling Fan Motor begins by disassembly of the cooling fan assembly followed by Fan Blade retaining nut extraction from motor shaft with subsequent blade detachment from the shaft. Extract the motor by removing its retaining screws first then pull it out from the shroud. When installing the motor into the shroud you should position it properly before tightening the cooling Fan Motor retaining screws to 5 nm (44 inch lbs.). After positioning the Fan Blade onto the shaft of the motor the technician will drop the Fan Blade onto place before tightening the retaining nut to 7 nm (62 inch lbs.). The cooling fan assembly should be replaced after installation.
