  A: The replacement of the power Door Lock Switch in the driver door starts by disassembling the door trim panel while keeping the ignition switch in the off position. You should start by removing retainer screws found at the back of the upper trim to eliminate the upper trim from the door. You should first disconnect the inner energy absorber from your door panel before removing four screws from behind the armrest and one screw in front of the armrest assembly. Remove the armrest assembly by disconnecting its wire harness. Protect the finish when removing the power Door Lock Switch assembly from the door trim panel pocket by placing duct tape around it. Connectors from the power Door Lock Switch get disconnected while the switch exits its position on the armrest switch plate applique.
