The Spark Plug boot puller (J 43094) enables you to disconnect the Spark Plug boots before extracting the spark plugs from the engine. Warming of the engine should be complete before Spark Plug maintenance begins while cleaning the plug area prevents damage to threads and prevents contamination. The spark plugs need inspection while performing maintenance. A round feeler gage should be used to check the new Spark Plug gap against specifications. The specified spark plugs required for vehicles represent the only acceptable option because alternative types will trigger severe engine destruction.
