  A: Begin replacement of the Knock Sensor (KS) 2 by removing the Intake Manifold first. Separate the electrical connector that connects to the Knock Sensor (KS) before removing the bolt located at the sensor's center. Extract the ks unit from its position inside the engine block. The ks mating surfaces require clean-up for the total surface to receive direct engine block contact. Before final installation of the ks and bolt to the engine block users must skip using any washers or spring washers or toothed washers. Fasten the bolt to a torque specification of 20 n.m (15 lb ft). Check that the wiring harness receives proper installation because there are multiple retaining clips maintaining its position. Continuation of the procedure requires connecting the electrical connector to the ks followed by Intake Manifold reinstallation.
