How to replace the Steering Angle Sensor or Steering Shaft Lower Bearing on 2005 Cadillac XLR?

Before replacing the Steering Angle Sensor or steering shaft lower bearing, you need to turn off the sir system and then take out the Steering Column from the vehicle. Then, take off the boot seal, steering shaft seal, sensor retainer, and sensor locator from the steering shaft, and finally the Steering Angle Sensor. Reposition the Steering Angle Sensor on the steering shaft and after that, fit the sensor locator, sensor retainer, steering shaft seal, and boot seal. When you're done with installation, put the Steering Column back into place and enable sir.
