After changing the switch, confirm that the engine could be started only basing on park or neutral. If it begins at any other position, you need to change the switch. Lastly, join the transaxle range switch electrical connectors and link the shift control cable of the transaxle range switch lever to secure its working. If replacing a new switch, take the same initial steps ensuring that the transaxle manual shaft is in neutral, position the flats, install the switch, install the range switch bolts to 20 nm (15 ft.
