2005 Chevrolet Colorado Fuel Pressure Sensor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to replace the fuel pressure sensor on 2005 Chevrolet Colorado?
A: A vehicle elevation method should be followed for access to the Fuel Tank's top through the wheelhouse liner. After removing the left pickup box wheelhouse liner disconnect the electrical connector from the Fuel Tank pressure (FTP) sensor then extract the ftp sensor from the Fuel Tank module upward. Installation requires the user to apply slight oil on the ftp sensor seal then push the ftp sensor completely into the Fuel Tank module before attaching the electrical connector to the ftp sensor. After completing the installation the left pickup box wheelhouse liner goes on followed by lowering the vehicle.
