How to replace the fuel injector on 2005 Chevrolet Equinox?

As a first step, remove the Fuel Rail after which you should detach the Fuel Injector retaining clip to separate the Fuel Injector from the rail. Handle the upper o-ring and lower o-ring of the Fuel Injector while keeping away from the electrical pins and nozzles. Also avoid submerging the Fuel Injector in cleaners because damage may occur. To install the Fuel Injector you must position first the new upper o-ring and lower o-ring onto the Fuel Injector before applying gm p/n 12345616 (Canadian P/N 993182) lubricant to the upper o-ring . To finish the repair replace the Fuel Injector into its position in the Fuel Rail while inserting the retaining clip before returning the Fuel Rail into position.
