How to replace the trailing arm on 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

Raise and support the vehicle first in order to replace the trailing arm. Remove the trailing arm bolt and nut from the trailing arm and knuckle, then take out the nut and bolt from the trailing arm and the trailing arm bracket, before taking the trailing arm out from the vehicle. For installation attach trailing arom to trailing arm. bracket following Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Next, bolt and nut and tighten them to 105 Nm (77 ft. lbs) to the trailing arm and the trailing arm bracket. Thereafter, attach the trailing arm to the knuckle and fasten it to the bolt and nut and tighten the nut to 240Nm (177ft.lbs.). Finally, lower the vehicle.
