  A: The replacement of the rear bumper fascia requires first opening the rear compartment lid while lowering the end gate. Begin by removing the rear compartment sill plate followed by the removal of rear fascia upper fasteners. To start the process close the end gate and detach the rear wheelhouse retainers which are mounted on the fascia. First disconnect the rear fascia wiring harness from the body side harness before removing the center brace support bracket bolt and front and rear fascia side attaching fasteners to take off the rear fascia from the vehicle. Put the rear fascia in place against the body before you fasten it properly by tightening the 6 N.m (53 lb in) fasteners at the rear fascia sides. Install the rear wheelhouse retainers after connecting the rear fascia wiring harness to the body side harness by tightening their fasteners to 6 N.m (53 lb in). After attaching the center brace support bracket bolt and putting the end gate down you must install all fasteners for the rear fascia upper section. After installing the rear compartment sill plate complete fastening of rear fascia fasteners to 6 N.m (53 lb in) and shut down both the end gate and rear compartment lid.
