How to replace the right engine mount on 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe?

The replacement of the right Engine Mount requires Exhaust Manifold and Engine Mount-to-Engine Mount bracket bolt removal. Lift the vehicle before using supports correctly and remove the tire together with wheel followed by inner wheelhouse panel and engine protection shield if your vehicle has this component installed. The engine must never be supported from the crankshaft balancer or Oil Pan because adjustable jack stands with screw types should be used instead. You should begin by taking out both Engine Mount to engine bolts before removing the right Engine Mount. One should position the right Engine Mount on the Engine Mount position and follow the fastener notice in service precautions before installing the Engine Mount bolts and securing them to a torque of 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). First lower the engine from its supports and then install and torque to 65 nm (48 ft. Lbs.) the Engine Mount-to-Engine Mount bracket bolts with an adjustable (screw type) jack stand in place. The last installation steps include reattaching the Exhaust Manifold together with the inner wheelhouse panel as well as tire and wheel and the engine protection shield when available before lowering the vehicle.
