How to replace the front crankshaft seal on 2005 Chevrolet Uplander?

Before replacing the front Crankshaft oil seal evacuate the Crankshaft balancer and key from the keyway while being cautious about Crankshaft damage. Use a wide screwdriver or suitable alternative to pry out the oil seal while you should inspect both the front cover and Crankshaft for damage. Clean engine oil should be used to lubricate the new oil seal before placing it into the front cover so the lip faces the engine using the cover aligner and seal installer (J 35468). Reinstall both the Crankshaft key inside the keyway then the Crankshaft balancer.
