How to replace the rear wiper motor on 2005 Chevrolet Uplander?

The first step to replace the rear Wiper Motor involves removing both the rear Wiper Arm and the nut from the drive shaft. You should first remove the washer and seal attaching to the Wiper Motor drive shaft and then pull out the liftgate trim panel. Free the rear Wiper Motor electrical cable then loosen and unscrew its mounts from the liftgate. Lift the Wiper Motor out of the car. Secure the Wiper Motor onto the liftgate by fastening its screws while applying 6 n.m (53 lb in) torque. Secure the electrical connector to the Wiper Motor before putting on washer and seal over the rear Wiper Motor drive shaft. Attach and tighten the rear Wiper Motor drive shaft nut to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Test the wiper by reinstalling its arm through its proper functions before replacing the liftgate trim part.
