How to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor B on 2005 Chevrolet Venture?

To replace the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor (CKP sensor B), first, turn the ignition off, and crank the Steering Wheel all the way to the left. Lift the vehicle and remove the right tire and wheel. Unplug the ckp sensor electric connector, then remove the attaching bolt/screw then remove the ckp sensor from the engine. Check the wear, cracks, and leakage of the sensor if you are not replacing the sensor. Oil the o-ring with fresh and clean engine oil and have it replaced only if it is in a bad condition before installation takes place. Mount the ckp sensor onto the block and tighten it to 11 n.m (97 lb in) using the attaching bolt. Connect the ckp sensor electrical connector and reinstall the right tire and wheel, lowering the vehicle and running the ckp system variation learn cycle.
