The left Engine Mount replacement begins with vehicle elevation and tire removal before proceeding to uninstall the wheelhouse panel. Owners of 4wd vehicles must remove their front propeller shaft as the first step of the replacement process. The engine must receive its support from adjustable screw-type jack stands instead of the crankshaft balancer or Oil Pan. The next sequence involves removing Engine Mount-to-Engine Mount bracket bolts and Engine Mount bolts before removing the left Engine Mount. Fix the left Engine Mount to the engine before torquing its Engine Mount bolts to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). Lower the engine using adjustable screw-type jack stands.
