How to service and repair the front coil springs and shock absorber on 2006 Buick LaCrosse?

In order to service and repair the suspension strut, detach it in the vehicle and reattach it in the Strut Spring Compressor. Squeeze the spring, and take out the top strut mount nut. Once the compressor has been loosened, place the strut back and reattach it to the car.
