How to replace the Parking Brake Shoe on 2006 Buick Rainier?

In order to change the park brake shoe, one has to make sure the park brake is released and elevate the car. Disassemble the wheel, the brake caliper and the brake rotor. Disconnect park brake cable then remove and clean the park brake shoe. Regulate the mechanism, screw the new shoe and then reconnect the cable. Install the brake parts again and lower the car.
