How to replace the rear brake calipers on 2006 Buick Rainier?

The brake caliper needs replacement by first lifting the vehicle and taking its tire and wheel off. Unclip the brake hose bolt from the rear brake caliper before plugging the hose opening to stop brake fluid from leaking out. Toss out the copper gaskets and extract them from the brake hose bolt. Pull out the mounting bolts for the rear brake caliper and take the caliper away from the mounting bracket. When you reestablish the brake caliper guide pin service it with denatured alcohol then dry it with non-oiled filtered air. Spread high temperature silicone brake lubricant on the brake caliper guide pin but keep it away from the brake pad equipment. Attach the rear brake caliper assembly to its bracket and snug the two brake caliper guide pins to 31 nm (23 ft. Lbs.). Place fresh brake hose copper gaskets at the bolt end, take the brake hose cap off, fasten the brake hose bolt to the rear brake caliper and tighten it to a torque setting of 40 nm (30 ft. Lbs.). Pump hydraulic fluid from the system before putting back the wheel and tire assembly after lowering the vehicle.
