Begin the front brake hose replacement by taking out the bolt that secures the hose to the frame and putting rubber plugs on each exposed brake pipe to avoid brakes fluid loss or contamination. Take out the brake hose through its connection to the brake caliper assembly by removing both bolts. Also extract all metal gaskets from the brake caliper and the brake hose while disposing of the copper gaskets. The technician must fit new copper gaskets to brake hose and bolt before attaching the brake hose bolt properly to the caliper assembly and tightening it to 44 nm (33 ft. Lbs.). Put the brake hose retaining bolt on the frame and set it to 20 nm (18 ft. Lbs.) tightening torque before taking off the rubber fixture from the brake pipe joining point. Fit the brake pipe to the brake hose and secure it at 20 nm torque. After filling the brake master cylinder tank, properly bleed the hydraulic brake system. Place the front wheels and tires assemblies then let the vehicle down.
