How to replace the rear washer pump on 2006 Buick Rainier?

Before replacing the rear washer pump you must take out the washer solvent container and break the washer hose connection to it. Pull the pump straight out from the retainer until it disconnects from the solvent container and then lift it upwards to pull the sealing grommet from the base. Throw away the used grommet. You need to insert the new sealing grommet part into the container before applying clean washer solvent to lubricate it. Put the pump into the sealing grommet and fasten it to the retainer on the solvent container. Put the washer hose back onto its connection with the pump before reattaching the washer solvent tank.
