How to replace the front door interior door handle on 2006 Buick Rainier?

The replacement of front door interior handles begins by taking out the door trim panel together with the handle retaining bolt. Push the handle forward to free the handle locator tab from the locator opening before you can release the rod retaining walls to extract the rods from the handle. Position the new handle on the door opening and then install the rods before proceeding with installing the handle retaining bolt. Start by installing the rod retainer locks after which you should insert the handle locator tab into the locator cutout until the handle reaches the correct position to align the fastener hole with the door. Place the handle retaining bolt and tighten it to 10 N.m (88 lb in) while recreting the door trim panel.
