    Q:
How to replace the rear outside door handle on Buick Rainier? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first task to replace a rear outside door handle on TrailBlazer EXT or Envoy XL vehicles is removing the door trim panel together with the water deflector. Begin by unlatching the clip that holds the lock rod in place on the outside door handle then take out the lock rod from the handle. First remove all outside door handle securing nuts from the door surface before extracting the handle itself. You should mount the new outside door handle to the door before installing its nuts followed by torqueing them to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Attach the lock rod back to the outside door handle before fastening it with clip. As the last step you should replace the door trim panel with its original position.
