To begin replacing the windshield washer pump you need to take out its solvent container. Take the washer hose cap off the pump then gently push the pump off its retainer to take it out of the solvent container. After that pull the pump out of the sealing grommet before getting rid of the old grommet. You should start the job by fitting a fresh washer pump sealing grommet into place. Push the pump into the new sealing grommet so it will fit correctly without damage. Push the pump through its holder on the solvent container tank to secure it. Reattach the washer hose to its place on the pump before putting the washer solvent container back in position.

Start replacing the washer unit by draining the solvent from the solvent reservoir and taking off electrical connections and hoses from the washer pumps. Take off both the washer screws from the vehicle and the solvent container before removing the washer pumps and grommets from their housing space. Fit washer pumps and grommets onto the solvent container while following the fastener notice under service precautions. Refasten the solvent container to its mounting location with the screw while tightening it to 3 n.m (27 lb in). Plug back the washer hoses and electrical connections after that. Also refill the washer solvent into the solvent reservoir.

You must detach the storage unit first when changing the Windshield Washer Pump. Pull the pump straight out from the solvent retainer after disconnecting its hose from the pump. To begin the process take out the pump from its sealing grommet and replace the used grommet. You need to position a fresh washer pump sealing grommet before proceeding with replacement. Push down on the washer pump to fit it snugly within the sealing grommet. Position the pump into the tank on the solvent container by using force. Reconnect the washer hose to the pump assembly before putting back the solvent tank.

Take away the washing pump parts and grommets from the solvent storage compartment. Follow the fastener precaution directions when you put washer pumps and grommets onto the solvent container during installation. Secure the solvent container back onto the vehicle by screwing it in place then tightening to 3 N.m (27 lb in). Attach washer pump and electrical units to their proper spots before adding new washer fluid to the reservoir and closing the hood.

Place a new sealing grommet into the container, lubricating it with clean washer solvent.

Using the screw, tightening it to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
