How to replace the Windshield Washer Pump on Buick Rainier?

To begin replacing the windshield washer pump you need to take out its solvent container. Take the washer hose cap off the pump then gently push the pump off its retainer to take it out of the solvent container. After that pull the pump out of the sealing grommet before getting rid of the old grommet. You should start the job by fitting a fresh washer pump sealing grommet into place. Push the pump into the new sealing grommet so it will fit correctly without damage. Push the pump through its holder on the solvent container tank to secure it. Reattach the washer hose to its place on the pump before putting the washer solvent container back in position.
