How to replace the rear side door power window switch on 2006 Cadillac CTS?

Start the replacement of a rear side door window switch by using a flat-bladed tool to push the front switch edge and disengage the retaining mechanism. To detach the switch plate users must both lift it from the door trim panel along its rear edge followed by connector disconnection. To separate the power window switch from its plate position use a small flat-bladed tool to unfasten both side snap walls. Hooks can be connected first and you should place the switch into the door trim panel with the front side facing the door panel while you perform the installation. To complete the installation press the switch steadily for retainer engagement.
