The first step for replacing the front side door Window Regulator consists of running the window to its maximum upward position before removing the door trim panel. Begin by taking out the water deflector followed by taping the window at its maximum height. Open the access holes of the inner door panel to complete four revolutions on the window clamp nuts before securing the door trim panel wiring harness. Lower the Window Regulator to about three-quarters down its path before disconnecting its electrical connector from the motor. The door requires the installation of new Window Regulator bolts numbered (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) before removing the Window Regulator. When installing the Window Regulator you should first position it into the door opening then screw in the bolts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) tightly to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Lower the glass by removing the tape from the window and slide it into the Window Regulator clamps until it reaches the most rearward position in the channel when seated.
