How to perform a Seat Switch replacement for the Driver Seat Adjuster Memory on 2006 Cadillac CTS?

A flat-bladed tool can help release the retainer from the door trim panel when you put it under the front edge of the switch. The electrical connector must be unplugged from the lock switch at this point. You should pry open the locking tabs with the flat-bladed tool across both sides of the switch to detach and separate the lock switch. Installation requires users to first snap the door lock switch into the door switch bezel before connecting the electrical connector and then fitting the rear portion of the door lock switch into the door trim panel followed by pressing down on the front side of the door lock switch to attach it within the door trim panel.
