The first step to replace the rear side door Window Regulator requires users to raise the window until it reaches its maximum height while taking out the door trim panel combined with the water deflector. Secure the window in its highest position by using tape while linking the wire harness connector of the door trim panel. The service technician should start by rotating the Window Regulator to window clamp nuts four times using a Power Window Switch to bring the regulator down halfway towards the body. Detach the electrical connector from the power Window Motor then remove the bolts which secure the regulator (1, 2, 3, 4, 5). Route the Window Regulator out by accessing the opening in the door panel from the back. The Window Regulator goes in the door through the door panel opening followed by installation of the Window Regulator bolts which require tightening to 9 n.m (80 lb in) around bolts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5). After removing the tape from the window you should place it in the Window Regulator clamps while connecting the electrical connector to the power Window Motor. Begin engine power and lift the window all the way up before tightening each clamp nut to 11 n.m (95 lb in).
